Hong Kong International Airport – Aviation Fuel Supply System
The aviation fuel supply system in Hong Kong International Airport automates the overall aviation tank farm operation, such as barge receipt, trucking loading and hydrant supply, providing non-stop fueling service for a daily consumption of 10 Million liters. The system includes a Facility Control and Management Subsystem, FUEL-FACS, and the Supervisory Control Subsystem, UCOS. The system interfaces to hardware such as electronic preset, tank gauging system and programmable logic controllers.
VLA’s responsibility for Aviation Fuel Supply System included system configuration, Human Machine Interface and control logic development, testing & commissioning as well as training. VL is a subcontractor to the main control contractor Control Systems International (CSI) of Kansas, USA.
